Hello bloggers! Today’s post topic is about my favorite subject. Well, this semester is composed of five subjects, these are: structure of ecosystems, mathematics, statistics, products and services and my favorite: growth of trees. I consider it is the most difficult subject of this semester, because we have to learn a lot of contents in a short time, but, even so, I like this subject because I can understand how the tree responds to what happens around it and the adaptive strategies that it generates in response to changes in the environment. Some contents of this subject are: macro and microscopic characteristics of the wood, photosynthesis, environmental stress, water flow in a tree, among others. Regarding the activities of the subject, I have had theoretical activities, but also practical activities, such as: seed germination and stem analysis. Hi everyone, finally the last post arrived. Today I’m going to tell you about my experience in this blog. Well, I must confess that at first I thought it was a very boring idea, but later I realized that it was not completely so. Although there were topics that didn’t interest me and found it very tedious to write about them, there were others really entertaining, in which I enjoyed writing the post. My favorite posts were where I talked about my favorite photo and the books. The first topic mentioned I liked because it was nice to remember the moment that was immortalized in that photo. Regarding to the second topic, I like to talk about books, because I discover new books to read. I think that writing this posts, was a great opportunity for to learn English. Hello everyone, today I’m going to tell you about movies. To watch movies are one of my favorite hobbies, every time I can, I see a movie. My favorites genres of films are: terror, romantic and superheroes movies. If you ask me what is my favorite film, I couldn’t decide for just one, but I do have favorites in each genre mentioned. The terror films that I like very much are all of The Conjuring universe, because really scare me! and even more if I see it in the cinema, because the audio volume is higher and the scenes look better on a big screen, so the expectancy is greater. Regarding the romantic movies, my favorite is “Love, Rosie”, because it mixes comedy and romance. Forestry is a career that study different ecosystems, mainly, trees and plants, this include to know the common name and scientific name of them, or to know them distribution, among others, so is very useful to know websites that deliver data like this. For this reason I chose the website: chileflora. I like this web page, because has data such as: distribution, scientific and common name, common height, habitat, uses, family, classification of species according to climatic zone, of different native plants of Chile (ferns, cactus, trees, and many others). This website helped me so much in my first year of career, because I had to do a herbarium, in which recollected 30 different species, and had to know some data like the ones mentioned above . Hello everyone! Today’s post topic is one very important and that concerns the whole world: Climate Change. Mainly, this phenomenon is happening due to human action and the industrial activities, causing a great impact on our planet. The climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, some rivers and lakes have dried up, there have been extreme heat waves, floods in some parts of the world, among other effects. I think there is a lack of awareness on the part of most people regarding on the damage that is being done to our planet. For example, in summer many people go to the beach and enjoy it, but when they leave, some people forget one thing, their trash. Trash that will then fall into the sea and will damage the habitat of many species. Really? Is it so hard to keep the trash in your pocket? Our planet is beautiful and nature teaches us so much, let’s takes care of it!
Hi bloggers! Today I’m going to tell you about my favorite pic. We all constantly take photos to immortalize some moment and have a memory of it. Personally, I like to take photos of my pet, landscapes and when I am with my family and friends. Although I have got several favourite photos, I chose this pic (well, actually it is two photos in one) because is very special to me, it represents the beginning and end of my school stage(in both photos, from left to right, my mom, me and my dad). The photo on the left was taken by a photographer after my kindergarten graduation in 2004, I was five years old. The photo on the right was taken in my house after my high school graduation in 2016, but I don’t remember who took it. I like this photo because it reflects the end of one cycle of my life and the beginning of another. Bye!
Hi everyone! Today I’m going to talk about of my most indispensable piece of technology. As we all know, nowadays the technology has become indispensable in our lifes, because everything is faster and easier thanks to it. In my case, although I use computer and TV a lot, the most indispensable piece of technology is my smartphone, I can't imagine my life without it! I use it every day! With the smartphone, I can communicate with the people, I listening to music, I take photos, I download digital books, I looking for a location, I watch series, I study and I use the social medias, like Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. When I was 12 years old I had my first smartphone, it was a birthday present and I remember that I was very happy. Bye!
