I’m Madeleine and this is my first post in this blog. I was born in Santiago of Chile, I’m 18 years old and studied at Liceo Bicentenario San Bernardo all my high school. In 2017 entered Universidad de Chile where I study forestry. I chose this career, because I love the nature and to learn about it. I love dancing, reading, traveling and I like to eat, so much. My favorite book is Bajo el cielo purpura de Roma by Alessandra Neymar. In my free times I love to listen to music, especially Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey. My favorite movie is Love Rosie. Someday, I would like to travel to Switzerland to eat a lot of chocolate and to know his amazing mountains.

    We should travel together! But I don't like too much the cold countries. We shloud go to Hawaii, to surf with Hawaiian people or simply take a rest in the beach. Also I like Lanita Del Rey, I admire her songs and what say through the lyrics. xo

Hi bloggers! Today I’m going to tell you about my favorite pic. We all constantly take photos to immortalize some moment and have a memory of it. Personally, I like to take photos of my pet, landscapes and when I am with my family and friends. Although I have got several favourite photos, I chose this pic (well, actually it is two photos in one) because is very special to me, it represents the beginning and end of my school stage(in both photos, from left to right, my mom, me and my dad). The photo on the left was taken by a photographer after my kindergarten graduation in 2004, I was five years old. The photo on the right was taken in my house after my high school graduation in 2016, but I don’t remember who took it. Hello bloggers! Today’s post topic is about my favorite subject. Well, this semester is composed of five subjects, these are: structure of ecosystems, mathematics, statistics, products and services and my favorite: growth of trees. I consider it is the most difficult subject of this semester, because we have to learn a lot of contents in a short time, but, even so, I like this subject because I can understand how the tree responds to what happens around it and the adaptive strategies that it generates in response to changes in the environment. Some contents of this subject are: macro and microscopic characteristics of the wood, photosynthesis, environmental stress, water flow in a tree, among others. Regarding the activities of the subject, I have had theoretical activities, but also practical activities, such as: seed germination and stem analysis.
